He is survived by: his wife Patricia Makarewicz; his daughters, Nancy Dwyer, Donna Scharf (Steven) and Tracey Dwyer; his grandchildren, Kelli Excell (Michael), Connor Talerico and Jon Michael Grimaldi; and his great grandchild Beckham Excell.
