With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmel R. Vedete (Utica, New York), who passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Carmel find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Rizzo and Domenica Rizzo (Tantillo). She is survived by: her husband James A. Vedete; her brother Nicholas Rizzo, Jr. (Patricia Musengo); and her sister-in-law Kathleen Belluccio (Michael). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Carmel's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
