He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Kistler and Mable Kistler; his wife Donna Kistler; and his siblings, Garth, Wendall, Lytle, Majorie and Joyce.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim; his son-in-law Christopher Gould; and his granddaughter Hannah Gould of Baldwinsville, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
