She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon J. Bury and Josephine Bury (Szypulski); her husband Raymond W. Malecki; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Wondro, Henry Malecki and Eleanor Wondro.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Malecki (MaryBeth), Steven Malecki (Michele), David Malecki, Karen Malecki and Diane Zeiter (Bill); and her sisters, Frances (Frank) and Patricia Yocum (Charlie) of Ann Arbor, MI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Barbara's name may be made to Holy Trinity Church, Spring Farm Cares, Anita's Stevens-Swan Humane Society or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
