She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hayes and Leila Hayes; her husband William Gorton; and her siblings, Frederick (Ann), Richard, Peter (Mary), Michael Hayes, Sara Hayes Cunningham (Earl) and Carol Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Gorton (Joan) of Utica, Robert Gorton (Jane) of Parrish, FL, William Gorton of Utica, J. Terrance Gorton (Lisa) of Rexburg, ID, Nancy Dooley (Michael) of Marietta, GA, Martin Gorton of Utica and Patricia Gorton of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren, Justin (Irina), Ryan Gorton (Cory), Brandon (Danielle), Logan (Jillian), Megan, Melissa Gorton, Madison Alvarez (Alex), Gillian Dooley, Carli Salas (Gustavo) and Nikki Gorton; and her great grandchildren, Lilyanne, Nikita, Jace, Leila Gorton, Kingsley Gorton, Cassian, Tezni Gorton, Maeve, Posie Gorton and Seiya Salas. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish (2222 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Alice's name may be made to the Catholic Women's Club of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes campus.
