He is survived by: his wife Gladys "Cookie" Newton; his children, Alfred "A. J.", Nashuna and Nakiesha Newton; his niece Brittany Roundtree; his godchildren, Melissa Brown, Qiaja Evans, Jonea Hymes, Bri Springer, Kimora Lucas, Tordell Garrett and Cashaé Jackson; and his parents-in-law, Queen A. Williams (March), William Hamilton, Carrie Johnson, Sarah Akins and Amos Williams. He is also survived by nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
