It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Heretz (Utica, New York), who passed away on April 13, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Ivan Heretz; his son John Heretz; and his brother Rodion Heretz. He is survived by: his parent Anna Maystruk Heretz; his spouse Pauline Naaykens; his daughters, Anna Romanowski (Thomas) of Dewitt and Katherine Sakkis (John) of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Rianna Romanowski, Lara Romanowski and Nicholas Sakkis (Stephanie); his great grandchild Alexander Sakkis; his siblings, Peter Heretz, Michael Heretz (Alla), Vera Rizwaniuk, Zoya Lucenko (Michael) and Raissa Johnson (Robert); his sister-in-law Natalie Heretz; and also, Halyna Korhun, Natalka Murray and Michael Lucenko. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider the Presbyterian Home in memory of Alexander.
