He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Zyla; and his siblings, Joseph Zyla and Cathy Lints. He is survived by: his mother Frances Zyla (Thrasher) of Clinton; his former wife Christine L. Coffin; his wife Inga M. Almleaf; his children, Alaina Twitchell of Utica and Alan T. Zyla, Jr. of Rome; his stepson Antonio; his grandchildren, Matthew Zyla, Xander Zyla and Frank Twitchell, IV; his sisters, Linda Thomas and Sue Bulinski of Whitesboro; and his parents-in-law, Rev. L. David and Nancy Almleaf. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
