He is survived by: his parents, Josephine Hoffer and Joseph Hoffer; his brother Joseph; his wife Joan Hoffer (Garrett); his children, Susan Hoffer (Bruce Rowe), Cathleen Hoffer (Keith Clement), James Hoffer (Hilda Hoffer) and William Hoffer (Jean Hoffer); his grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, Andrea, Courtney, Nathaniel, Johanna and Emma; and his great grandchild Caleb.
