It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lewis Johnson (Uniondale, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paul Johnson and Helen Resse Johnson. He is survived by: his son Robert Johnson, Jr. (Robbie); his cousins, Robert and Cynthia McManus; his children, Alex, DeShonn Larkins and LaTiesha Larkins; and his grandchildren, Amber, Shaday, Heaven, Skye and Sire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, former co-workers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hartnett Funeral Home (561 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553). Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Presbyterian Church (189 Babylon Turnpike, Roosevelt, NY 11575). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hartnett Funeral Home (561 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
