He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Sr. Cartner and Josephine Hutchings Cartner Tryant; and his brother Thomas Cartner. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cartner; his siblings, Robert Cartner (Debbie) and Beverly Plis; his brother-in-law David Myers; and his friend Robert Howard (Luann). He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
