Grace Pettit Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2020, at the age of 89, Grace Pettit (Union Springs, New York), born in Montezuma, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Smith-Helmer and Jessie Smith-Helmer; her husband Donald W. Pettit; her son-in-law David Yaw; and her siblings, David, Larry, Vernon and Hazel.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Jay Pettit (Cindy) of Port Byron, Linda Yaw of Romulus, Terry Pettit of Union Springs, Christy Roe (Mitchell) of Union Springs, Mike Pettit (Diane) of Aurora, Barry Pettit of Aurora and Carol "Sue" Holmes (Leland Jr.) of Jordan; and her sisters, Anita McBride and Gertrude "Gertie" Smith. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, her 17 great grandchildren.
