Sharon G. Backus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020, at the age of 73, Sharon G. Backus of Unadilla, New York, born in Sidney, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison G. DeForest and Eunice DeForest (Fisk); her grandson Trevor Microni; and her brother Bernard A. DeForest. She is survived by: her husband Stanley E. Backus; her children, Stanley "Ley" Backus, II (DeAnna), Bret Backus and Katrina Ford (Jerry); her grandchildren, Syrrah (Jeremy Baker), Devin Backus, Caleb, Garrett Backus and Cooper Ford; her great grandchildren, Zane and Kennedi Backus; her siblings, Maxine DeForest and Darryl DeForest; her pet Harley; and her friends, David and Connie Millner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
