He was predeceased by: his father Wayne W. Nickerson; and his cousin Scott Briody. He is survived by: his mother Mary K. "Dee" Filocco (Slover) of Port Ewen; his stepfather John Filocco of Port Ewen; his close friend Christal Cangley; his children, Alexandra "Ali" Nickerson of Port Ewen and Wayne D. Nickerson Jr. of Bloomington; his sister Tammy Nickerson of Saugerties; his half-brother William "Billy" Nickerson of Kingston; and also Joseph "Joey" Nickerson of Port Ewen.
