He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Schretter and Marie C. Schretter (Matthews). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie R. Loesch; his children, Bridget A. Coddington (Fred W.) of Port Ewen, Matthew Schretter of Florida and Daniel A. Schretter of Port Ewen; his sister Louise Irlinger (Joseph) of Staten Island; his niece Maria Irlinger; and his nephew Mark Irlinger. He is also survived by two grandnieces and two grandnephews, and several cousins.
