With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond P. Coons Jr. (Ulster Park, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond P. Sr. Coons and Cecelia Coons (Jennings); and his siblings, Eleanor Dingee, Linda Haight, Andrew "Sonny" Sturgess and Robert "Bobby" Sturgess.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Coons (Smith Solomon); his sons, Raymond P. Coons III (Linda M.) of Saugerties and Christopher Martin Coons (Lisa Vasquez) of Daytona; his daughter-in-law Laura Coons of Saugerties; his grandchildren, Raymond P. Coons IV (Charles Lei Chen), Phoebe Garcia Coons and Myles Christopher Coons; and his sister Delores Proctor Nicalek of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
