It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Schlanger (Ulster Park, New York), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Lillian Hughes (Mayone); and her parents-in-law, Melvin and Teresa Schlanger. She is survived by: her husband Michael T. Schlanger; her children, Meghan Landerway (Rob) of Lake Katrine, Jason Schlanger (Krystal Jo) of Lake Katrine and Amber Germain (Ben) of Kingston; her siblings, Barry Hughes (Jeanine) of Albany, NY, Barbara A. Lukaszewski (Charles) of Kingston and Ellen Hughes of Kingston; and her grandsons, Robbie and Liam Landerway. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and God children.
Face coverings are required and social distancing will limit visitor capacity in the funeral home. The service, officiated by the Rev. Louis Yaya, followed by entombment in the Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum, will be privately held.
