She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester J. Seymour and Lorena D. Seymour (Cole); her husband Stanley C. Newkirk; her siblings, Gerald Van Pelt, Steve Whitehead, Richard Lawrence and Beatrice Rogers; and her children, Joseph Newkirk and Susan Newkirk.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Newkirk (Marcia) of Hurley, NY and Trisha Graff (Richard) of Kingston, NY; and her sisters, Kathleen Lloyd of New Berlin, NY and Barbara Marko of York. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
