He is survived by: his former wife Lillian Tilitha Miller; his parent Eunice Roach; his spouse Mary Louise Barnes; his siblings, Alfonso Knox Sr., Lottie Fay Knox, Rosia Lee Thomason and Richard Haley; and his children, Hassan Bilal, Ivy Riley, Joseph Ronald Riley, Raymond Gay, Evelyn Barnes, Phyllis Whitfield, Tommie Barnes Jr, Georgiana Knox, Olivia Dunn and William Dunn.
