She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Mahoney and Catherine Marie Mahoney (Slater); and her brother Charles John Mahoney. She is survived by: her nephew Aron Thomas; her husband Burton Heldron; her sister Marie Mahoney; her sisters-in-law, Sherry Thomas and Charlene Clark; her nieces and nephews, Kristen Heldron and Kevin Heldron (Jaime); her great-niece Colleen Ireland (Jeff); her grandchildren, Clara, Oliver Heldron, Lucas Heldron, Hailey Elizabeth, Liam Ireland, Allison Elizabeth, Samanatha, Mason Carson, Emerson, Beckett Gros and Josephine Jane Heldron; and also, Karen Carson (Ed), Carolyn Gros (Daryl) and Colin Heldron (Suzanne). She is also survived by nephews, a niece/goddaughter, cousins and many other family and friends.
In lieu of fresh flowers, the family suggests indoor plants for loved ones to take home and nurture in memory of Elizabeth, or donations can be made in Elizabeth's name to the Town of Esopus Ambulance Squad (TEVAS), PO Box 910, Port Ewen, NY 12466, or a charity of ones choice.
