He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kilmer and Dorothy Kilmer (Lewis); his brother Dennis Lee Kilmer; and his nephew Joe Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kilmer (Gardner); his children, Cynthia Lee Hover (Chuck) of Hudson and David Kilmer (Margaret) of Charleston, SC; his stepdaughter Kristin J. Villano (Nick) of California; his grandchildren, Tyler Dunn of Syracuse and Emily Kilmer of Charleston, SC; his niece Denise Kilmer; and his nephew Danny Brown (Debbie).
