She is survived by: her sons, Kristian Matthews (Lee Ann) of Warwick, NY, Edward Joseph "E. J." Matthews, III (Gabriela S. Ghirawoo) of Tuxedo Park, NY and Jacob "Jake" Pennings Matthews (Yasmin) of Tuxedo Park, NY; her grandchildren, Evan, Kristian and Adrian; her siblings, Marie Pennings of Warwick, John'Jack" Pennings, Richard Pennings, Stephanie Yungman, Michael A. Pennings, Christine Schuster of Mesa, AZ and Stephen Pennings; and her former husband Edward Matthews, Jr. of Tuxedo Park. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
