He is survived by: his wife Betty "Liz" Daughtry (Lauzon) of Malone, NY; his sister Sally Day of North Carolina; his children, Vicar R. Daughtry Jr. of Virginia, Tina Purcell of Virginia and Margie A. Ventre of Florida; and his niece Carrie Day. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
