She was predeceased by: her parents, William Duffy and Elizabeth Duffy (DeLosh); her sister June Stearns; and her children, Greg Amell, Donna Thomas and Darlene Amell.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Dechene; her children, Caren Cote (Norman), Stewart Amell (Laurie), Bryan Amell, Alene Amell, Mark Amell (Tracey) and Holly Amell; and her stepchildren, Michael Dechene (Diane), Julie Dechene and Debi Fitzwilliam (Gary). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
