He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dunning and Winifred Dunning. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Strack of Tupper Lake; his children, Marie Simonds of Holiday Island, AR, Jim (Vickie Strack), Brent (Ashley Strack) and Michael Strack (Bridget Bowman); his grandchildren, Tanner Simonds, Justin Ecret, Cody Ecret, Derek Strack, Daniel Strack, Brenan Strack, Baleigh Strack, William Strack and Katherine Strack; his great grandchildren, Ella Mae Strack, Bekett Strack, Amani Amell, Mila Amell and Nile Kennedy; and his brothers, Ronald Dunning, Jim "Dud" Dunning, Christopher "Bear" Dunning and Brian "Joe" Dunning.
