She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Velez and Maria Gonzalez Velez. She is survived by: her sons, Christian Soto-Velez (Aimee Gleason), Luis Soto Velez and Prakash Marja; her siblings, Hector, Alexandro, Tony, Jesu, Willie and Edith; and her grandchildren, Mia, Izabella, Trisitan and Amara. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
