With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Rochon LaVoy of Tupper Lake, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry R. Sivers and Edith Storch Sivers of Venice, FL; her birth parents, Roderick Castle, Sr. of Madison, NY. and Reta Amidon of Baldwinsville, NY; and her brother Eric of Owego, NY..

She is survived by: her husband Bruce LaVoy; her son Loren; her daughter-in-law Karen of College Park, MD; her grandchildren, Logan and Kaylon; her son Todd (Christina) of Portsmouth, VA; her grandchildren, Annika and Pfeiffer; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Cole Sivers of Owego, NY and Rosanne LaVoy of Bolinas, CA; her siblings, Roderick Castle Jr. (Lynn) of Baldwinsville, NY and Judy McLean (Tim) of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; and her mother-in-law Ann LaVoy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
