He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thompson and Lorraine Boucher Thompson (Boucher); and his cousin Albert Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Joan LaValley (LaValley); and his sons, Welding, Scott (Tracy) and Kurt Thompson (Lisa Loncar).
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation.
