Charlotte R. Sherman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte R. Sherman (Tully, New York), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Elliott and Alice Elliott; her siblings, John, William, Robert, Thomas, Susan and Sarah (Carlson); her husband Daniel W. Sherman, Jr.; and her children, Gary Sherman (Lauradine) of Gardner, KS and Nadene Callahan (Ron) of Monroe, NC..
She is survived by: her brothers, Richard, Orlo of South Dayton, NY, Milo and Timothy of Kennedy, NY.; and her children, Diana Heffer of Warrenton, VA, Laurence Sherman (Sharon) of Tully, NY, Joseph Sherman (Jeanette) of Catlett, VA, Charita Gefell (Tom) of Victor, NY, Peggy Ball (David) of Kyle, TX and Darryl Sherman (Kathy) of Daytona Beach, FL.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hartwell Funeral Home (461 NY-281, Tully, NY 13159). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers there are two organizations that Charlotte was committed to: a) the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org) or b) her home church Grace Baptist Church of Tully, NY.
