It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore Chiaramonte of Tuckahoe, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elena Chiaramonte (Tripodo) and Joseph Chiaramonte; his wife Marianna Sapia; and his children, Dr. Joseph Chiaramonte (Rosanna), Paul S. Chiaramonte (Lucia), Elena Campion (Michael), Marianna DeStefano (Gregory), Theresa Carroll (Andrew), Vincent Chiaramonte (Robbin) and Christina Chiaramonte. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 25, 2021 at 9:30 AM at St. Eugene"s R.C. Church, Yonkers. Entombment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the BrightFocus Foundation (https://www.brightfocus.org).
