He was predeceased by: his parents, Anselm Soyring and Hazel Soyring (Aiken). He is survived by: his wife Doris Soyring; and his children, Linda D'Arcy (David), Karen Papadopoulos, Phillip Soyring Jr. (Larysa), Cynthia Pakkala (Brian) and Laura Nettleton (Steven). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID pandemic, a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date at the Trumansburg United Methodist Church.
