She is survived by: her children, Kurt Van Ness (Beverly Johnson), Henry Van Ness, Amy Smith and Karen Carvell (Michael); her grandchildren, Steven Van Ness, Dana Van Ness (Carrie), Meggan Van Ness, Charlie Van Ness, Scott Smith, Shannon Albrecht (Kevin), Jeremy Smith (Megan), Dan Carvell (Jamie) and Tim Carvell (Clare); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Brown (Ed). She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
