He was predeceased by: his parents, Jared Rumsey and Margaret Rumsey (Holley); his children, Deborah Rumsey and Elery Rumsey; his siblings, Maynard and Phylis Brooks; and his brother-in-law Dick Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Tina M Rumsey, Jack Rumsey (Haleigh), Jill Tilton (Joseph), Jamie Rumsey Witkowski, Randal Rumsey (Dwight) and Jacob Jackson Rumsey; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Rumsey; his grandchildren, Krystal, Joshua, Britney, Sabrina and Chelsey; his siblings, Susan Carlisle (Larry), Judy Neiss, Denis Rumsey (DeeAnne), Loreta Rumsey-Ebert (Linda), Marlene Crockford and Bruce Rumsey (Alma); and his sister-in-law Elise Rumsey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
