She is survived by: her parents, Susan Beckley of Ithaca and David Newman (Lesley Adams) of Trumansburg; her siblings, Eliza A. Newman, Valerie L. Newman and Hank A. of Ithaca; and her niece Fina. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Emma's memory to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or to the Humane Society of Schuyler County.
