She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Irwin and Laura Irwin (Crane); her husband Marvin A. Mitterer; and her sister Dorothy Mitstifer. She is survived by: her sons, Lee and Kent; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam and Abigail; and her sisters, Wilma Trias and Roberta Butler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home (23 South St, Trumansburg, NY 14886). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trumansburg United Methodist Church (80 E Main St, Trumansburg, NY 14886).
