He is survived by: his parent Flossie Meixell (Brown); his wife Mary Meixell; his children, Sarah Meixell (Marty Hilliard), Peter Meixell (Carmen) and Eliza Meixell (Ingolf Hack); his grandchildren, John Robert Meixell (Kaitlyn Percey) and Matthew King; and his sister Jane Foltz.
