He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Carl Everts and Sweetman Everts; his son Trevor Everts (Lindsey Sweeney) of Albany; his fiancé Leslie Brussel-Smith of Troy; his partner's children, Danielle Swentonic, Elizabeth Brussel-Smith and David Brussel-Smith; his siblings, Patricia Everts, James Everts, Thomas Everts, Andrew Everts (Peggy) and Judith Everts; and his nieces and nephews, Teresa Norfolk and Charlie. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren.
