He was predeceased by: his parent Marion Marble; his granddaughter Casey Finnegan; his sister Patricia Townsend; and his niece Melissa Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamel; his children, Robert Hamel, Shannon Ryan (Michael) and Robin Finnegan (late Bernard); his grandchildren, Robert, Gaige Hamel Bridget Ryan (Matthew Marvin), Zachary Ryan (Grace Momrow), Brendan Ryan (Lauren) and Emily Ryan; his great grandchildren, Candace, Payton and Olivia; and his brother Kenneth Townsend (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
