Mary Ellen Agars Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Agars of Troy, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Agars to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Colarusso and Emily Colarusso (Bennaway); and her husband George. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn D'Agostino (Anthony) and Mark Agars (Viara); her grandchildren, Scott, Sofia, Kelly D'Agostino, Maksim and Niko Agars; her sisters, Janet Mantello (Dom) and Emily Malone; and her sister-in-law Theresa Agars. She is also survived by numerous close friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel (175 Williams Rd, Troy, NY 12180).
