With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Carr of Troy, New York, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Neth and Elizabeth Pfaff Neth; her spouse Thomas Carr; her brother Charles Arnold Neth; and her son-in-law Thomas Colby.
She is survived by: her children, Robert T. Carr (Irene) and Virginia M. Colby; her grandchildren, Suzanne Colla (Joseph), Christine, Elizabeth Carr, Christopher Redfield (Sabina), Adam Redfield and Jonathan Colby; her great grandchildren, Robert T. Colla (Rebecca), Andrew, Aimee Colla, Jaden Prince, Kamilla and Kolsen Redfield; and her great great grandchildren, Augustine and Finnick Colla.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
