With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Ellen Walsh of Troy, New York, who passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Ellen Walsh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Walsh and Edna Molloy Walsh; her siblings, Dr. Joseph B. Walsh, MD (Don W. Lundquist) and Elizabeth Walsh; and her former husband Joseph S.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph R. Champagne, Elizabeth M. Walsh (Christopher T. Maier), Mark P. Walsh (Anne Bair), Daniel W. Champagne (Susan, RN) and Christopher R. Walsh (Jennifer); and also, Brennan, Neal Champagne (Alice Tang), Katelynn, MD (Nikki Ortiz, MD), Nancy Champagne, Thomas, Eric Maier, Isabella, Christian Walsh and Dagny Walsh. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the RPI Chapel & Cultural Center (2125 Burdett Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
It would be Mom's request, as it is ours, that anyone wishing to remember Mom in a special way should make a contribution to one of the following organizations that were very important to her or a charity of your own choosing: Unity House of Troy, Inc., Albany Damien Center, The Arc of Rensselaer County , Curtain Call Theatre, or Community Hospice.
