She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Mele and Clara Mele (Badolato); her father-in-law Clayton (Ruth Stevens); her son James A. "Jimmy" Stevens Sr.; and her siblings, Concetta Mele, Mary Meachen (George), Catherine Rocque (Ernest), Lena Maniello (John), Josephine Basile (Elio), Beatrice Brucato (Anthony), Clara Schreiner (Frank) and Nicholas Mele.
She is survived by: her husband Clayton A. "Art" Stevens of Tomhannock; her brother Salvatore; her sister-in-law Marie Mele; her grandchildren, James A. "J. R." Stevens Jr. (Gracie) of Florida, Lorinda Stevens of Florida and Lorin Stevens (Quinn) of Florida; and also Connie Muller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howard B. Tate & Son Funeral Home Inc. (2237 NY-7, Troy, NY 12180). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (55 N Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Grafton Area Food Pantry through either Our Lady of Victory Church or Our Lady of the Snow Parish, in memory of Marion C. Stevens.
