He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Ruth; his wife Mary; his brother Elmer; his sisters-in-law, Dorcas, Vera Hall (James) and Martha; and his son-in-law Oliver Moghissi.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa and Brian (Julie) of Guilderland, N. Y; his grandchildren, Meghan Gutknecht, Karl Moghissi, Maria Moghissi, Joshua Gutknecht, Alan Moghissi and Kevin Gutknecht; his brother Bruce; and his brother-in-law James Hall. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.
