He was predeceased by: his brother Ernest Mitchell, III; his son Brett Alan Mitchell; and his mother Shirley Delisle Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Amber Atkins (Jeremiah Smith) and Cory Mitchell; his grandchild McKenzie Atkins; his father Ernest "Sonny" Mitchell, Jr.; his stepmother Sue Mitchell; his siblings, Kevin Mitchell and Brianna Mitchell (Brandon Durant); his stepsiblings, Heather Fukes and Chris Fukes (Karen); and his nephews, Chase Smith and Cameron Fukes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. (565 4th Ave, Troy, NY 12182).
