She was predeceased by: her parents, George Colligan and Margaret Colligan (Cunningham); her husband Edward Cox, Sr.; her mother-in-law Nora Toomey; and her siblings, Marie Carty, George Colligan, Edna Brennan, Anita Daly, Joseph Colligan and Vincent Colligan.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Cincotta (Tom) of Red Hook, NY, Noreen Cox of Troy, NY, Edward Cox, Jr. (Therese) of Millbrook, NY, George Cox of Troy, NY and Dean Cox of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her grandchildren, Ryan Cox (Meghan) and Michael Cox; her children, Chelsea Sack (Josh), Katherine Cincotta (Derek), Nicholas Cincotta, Shannon Lorant (Carter) and Daniel Cox; and her great grandchildren, Avery Cox and Carson Cox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Joan's memory can be made to the Special Olympics, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
