With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Teresa Blackburn of Troy, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Green and Cecilia Eva Green (Griesemer); her husband Robert Lynn Blackburn; her daughter Mary Monroe; and her grandchildren, Randy Monroe and Sarah Monroe.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Slaving (John), Jeff Blackburn (Donna), Betty Simmons (Donald), Robert Blackburn (Judy) and Ally Blackburn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
