He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Burger; his spouse Helen M. Alaskey Burger; and his sibling Mary Ellen Stolle. He is survived by: his parent Mariam Finney Burger; his children, James W. Burger, Sr. of Lansingburgh and Charles J. Burger (Pamela) of Delmar; his grandchild Jason C. of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Kenneth Burger, David Burger and Virginia Burghard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
