She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Mion and Elisa De Cecco Mion; her sister Norma Reilly (late Jim); and her great grandchild Lily Roesch. She is survived by: her husband Gennaro DeRubertis; her children, Albert DeRubertis (Terry), Vincent DeRubertis (Wendy), Lisa Ryan (Kevin), Michael DeRubertis and Joseph DeRubertis (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Christopher, Emma, Allie, David and Adam DeRubertis; her children, Tara Horn (Chris), Daniel DeRubertis, Trasian, Alexandra Ryan, Marielaina Peters (Mike), Paige, Gennaro and Mason DeRubertis; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Elaina Horn and Amelia Peters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Irene may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
