She was predeceased by: her husband Bernie Cwenar; and her parents, Peter Buffone and Angelina Buffone. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Hunter (Rich), Michael Cwenar (Cheryl), Sylvia Cwenar, Peter Cwenar and Mary Rind (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Robert, Jonathan Strubel, Tony Cwenar, Kristina Cwenar and Emily Rind; her great grandchildren, Robbie, Logan Strubel, Grace, Noah and Isabella Cwenar; and her sister Silvia Abate (late Tony).
