It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Hornbeck of Trout Creek, New York, born in Oneonta, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alger and Velma Kilpatrick Alger; her husband James Hornbeck (Jim); her sisters, Marie Shelton and Ruthie Boice; and also Janet Wildey.
She is survived by: her children, James Hornbeck (Gwen) of Oxford, Ron Hornbeck (Teri Fairchild) of Sidney Center and Nancy Hornbeck (Jim Crawford) of Trout Creek; her siblings, Lois Knapp of Otego, Billy Fairchild of Indiana and Vera Stewart of Oneonta; her grandchildren, Sheryl Malin, Jennifer Kennedy, Michelle Hornbeck, Britany La Mariana, Baillie La Mariana, Lauren La Mariana, Gerald Hornbeck, Shea Hornbeck and Dylan Hornbeck (Sierra Keesler); and her great grandchild Kinsley Hornbeck.
